Introduction to International Patent Applications

The exact name of an international patent application shall be: international application of a patent. There are generally three ways to apply: PCT international application, Paris Convention single country application and European international application, of which the most common is PCT international application.
It is suggested that, if more than 5 countries apply, it is more appropriate to choose the PCT approach. If less than 5 countries apply internationally, you can choose a single country to apply. If you need to apply for patents from EU member countries at the same time, you can choose the European international application.
